Leandro Trossard's first-half goal earned Arsenal a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, moving the Gunners back to the top of the Premier League table.

The Belgian forward struck in the 27th minute, finishing off a fine move involving Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka.

Manchester United had chances to equalise, but David de Gea made a number of fine saves to deny Arsenal.

The win sees Arsenal move two points clear of Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

It is the first time that Arsenal have completed the league double over Manchester United since 2006-07.
