From the Group Stage to the Knockout Rounds

The Group Stage
The group stage of the UEFA Europa League will begin on September 8, 2023. A total of 48 teams will be divided into 12 groups of four. The teams will play each other home and away, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the knockout rounds.
The Knockout Rounds
The knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa League will begin on February 16, 2024. The 16 teams that advance from the group stage will be joined by eight teams that drop down from the UEFA Champions League. The teams will play two-legged ties, with the winners advancing to the next round.
The Final
The final of the UEFA Europa League will be played on May 29, 2024, at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary. The winner of the final will qualify for the UEFA Champions League, so there's plenty at stake for both teams.
